My story

Ana Maidana is a Paraguayan audio engineer, guitarist, and producer based in Abu Dhabi.

She works across sound design, mixing, and music production, blending Latin American influences with contemporary acoustic–electronic techniques.

Originally from Encarnación, she carries her cultural roots into every project — from film sound design to collaborative music production. Ana is completing her BA in Music (Sound & Music Production) and Business at NYU Abu Dhabi, where she works with artists and filmmakers across the Middle East, South America, and the U.S.

Her capstone project, “Between Two Shores,” explores memory, identity, and belonging through guitar and field recordings.

Ana’s work is guided by curiosity and a love for creating sound that lives at the intersection of cultures.
